The church sexton has arrived early by horseback and is inside stoking the wood furnace. Choir members are not far behind and will enter a sanctuary filled with both physical and spiritual warmth. The old bus, loaded with kids, approaches the school where rehearsal is already underway. Outside horses and dogs wait patiently for their masters.
