ALMOST HOME By Terry Redlin - In this nostalgic scene the artist reminds us of both a less complicated time, and a more innocent time, in our nation's history. The rural family is returning home on a crisp winter evening. As the sun's rays begin to disappear behind the distant tree line, the sleigh has momentarily stopped. There is just enough light to gather up a little extra wood for that evening's celebration.
